Thanks to the 310 West section of I-10, this “country living” community has thrived. The entire town is less than 30 minutes from the New Orleans CBD and less than 20 minutes from Metairie shopping. The prestigious Ormand Estates form the centerpiece of the area. There are homes and town homes on or near the golf course. The area has done very well holding property value and levee and pumping station improvements have made the area water-free. There was no Katrina water damage.
